Pistol I
Defense Training Academy
Inc. offers classes that enhance the shooters skills. At this
time two (2) advanced classes are underway for students that
want to learn more. We pride ourselves in the quality of Instructors
and material offered in these classes. Small class size provides
for one on one training to improve the mastering of techniques
and skills to be proficient with a handgun.
Advanced Pistol I
1. Introduction and Safety Orientation
2. Revolver and Semi-Auto Operation & Malfunctions
3. Introduction to Stance, Grip, Trigger Prep, High & Low
Ready, Breaking Tunnel Vision.
4. Holster Instruction & Repetition Drills
5. Mental Live Fire Drills
Student to Provide:
1. Handgun ( Loaners are available for an additional
$10.00)
2. Base Ball Style Cap
3. 500 Rounds of Factory Ammunition or equivalent
4. Photo Identification
5. Holster
6. (2) Speed loaders or extra magazines with pouch
7. Appropriate outdoor wear and water, pop or snacks

to Provide:
1. Minimum of 7.5 Hours of Live Fire & Instructional
Range Training
2. All Targets and Required Range Items ( Ear & Eye
Protection)
3. Defense Training Academy Inc. Certificate to Students
who successfully complete the requirements of D. T. A.
Inc.

Academy’s instructors are NRA Certified or Certified
Ohio Law Enforcement Instructors.
